Seminar conducted on secular democracy
A seminar on the topic " Secular Democracy " was conducted at 9.30 am on Saturday 21/10/2017 in the auditorium of Dr.Ambedkar GHSS KODOTH ( 14015 ) under the auspices of the State Institute of Parliamentary affairs, Kerala as directed by Mr.E.CHANDRASEKHARAN ,Honourable M L A,Hosdurg AND MINISTER OF KERALA,.
A SPEECH COMPETITION was also conducted in connection with the programme.
Apart from them ,all others in the programme notice were present.Prizes for the winners in the speech competition were distributed by Mr.Babu.
The PTA president,Soumya Venugopal was also present.About 200 selected students from different schools in the district participated in the programme.- Principal

Secularism in India means equal treatment of all religions by the state.
With the 42nd Amendment of the Constitution of India enacted in 1976,the Preamble to the Constitution asserted that India is a secular nation. However, neither India's constitution nor its laws define the relationship between religion and state. .............

Handwashing day observed in advance on 14/10/2017
The 2017 Global Handwashing Day theme is “Our hands, our future!”
Wet your hands with clean, running water (warm or cold), turn off the tap, and apply soap. Lather your hands by rubbing them together with the soap.
Be sure to lather the backs of your hands, between your fingers, and under your nails.
Scrub your hands for at least 20 seconds.
